Play List

The Play List is the panel found at the bottom left of the screen by default. This is where you will find the titles that have been enqueued or sent for playing. See Track List for information on how to get titles to the Play List. Special Info will show information on the current playing track in the Play List.
The up and down arrow icon allows you to toggle this pane on or off

Locate Album - Finds the album cover and displays it in Special info if it is already downloaded (see "Last FM artist picture in Music Browser)
Remove - removes the title from the playlist (this does not delete the title from your computer
Remove Others - removes titles other than the selected from the playlist
Clear List - removes all titles from the play list
Randomize List - shuffles the titles in the play list to a random order
Play Control - (Can also be accessed by clicking the Configuration icon
at the top of this panel)
- Normal - plays titles in the order they appear in the playlist
- Shuffle - Plays titles in random order
- Loop - plays titles in the order they appear and repeats from beginning when finished
- Auto Continue - continues to play files randomly from your whole collection. More titles can be added at any time to the queue to be played next
- Auto Continue / Auto "DJ" mode - Allows you to choose what titles to include in the auto continue mode. You can choose to include your whole collection (All) or continue with the same artist only, album, year, genre, collection or just new titles
- Playlist - uses the standard m3u files. A playlist is a file listing a group of titles of your choice. In Jaangle you can create a playlist (.m3u field) from the current titles in the playlist panel, saving it so that you can open and play the same list of songs at any time in the future.
- Insert List - Opens a previously saved m3u file and inserts it after the selected title
- Load List - opens a previously saved m3u file
- Save List - saves your current playlist as an m3u file.
- Rating - Allows you to give the title a rating of your choice
- Options - Opens the Options dialogue
Insert Random Tracks - allows you to insert random tracks from your whole collection (All) or from the same artist only, album, year, genre, collection or just new titles.
[edit] Numbering of Titles
You can now add numbering to the titles in the playlist (a feature request).
- Click on the Options Menu
- Click on Playlist on the left
- Check the box on the right that says Show Numbers
